Why Do I Make Music?

Why do I make music?

To introduce the power of God through music.

God resurrected my passion for music and so I have dedicated my craft to Him. This is a simple conviction the Holy Spirit put on my heart as I was building a relationship with Him. I wouldn’t have life, let alone a passion to share it through music, if it wasn’t for The Most High. The least I can do is honor Him while I’m here.

I can truly say I have found great purpose in life since God and I have got to know each other.

PURPOSE

God gives you direction, when you give Him control.

Sometimes the only choice you have is to head up a mountain.

Energy

Energy is everlasting and travels like the wind.

When I create music, I commit myself completely. I encourage everyone to take a step back and figure out a way to push themselves further in every part of their life. With music especially it’s important for us all to connect to each other in an honest way; music is a universal language. By committing my entire soul to the creation process, I am able to connect with God and let Him speak through me. Human potential is directly connected to our will. Give Him your will and you will find the true peaks of your humanity, get to know God and yourself.

Emotions push and pull you in different directions, but they’re usually all heading in the same destination.

Emotion

The human condition is a beautiful thing.

I believe true emotions, not wild, but well balanced emotions are the best ingredients for any shared communication to become meaningful. Music is unique like that. Sometimes words aren’t even necessary. I still and probably always will enjoy listening to the different rhythms and beats and harmonies of music, breathless. Sometimes I need that. But other times, the emotions of music drives me to such an emotional state that I just have to put words to it. And that’s when I get excited. It’s time to make some music baby.

Sometimes when you finally get to the top, you realize you’re in a wasteland, the view isn’t too much better and no one else notices anyway.

Testimony

Your story matters to someone.

I create music in the moment usually. When I begin a song, I dig down and reach out, and let my energy flow into the ether. I usually come to a critical point where I begin to understand my current position in the world in a new light. As I grow, I use music to help define what is happening in my life at that moment. Sometimes I find areas of myself that have been left ignored or avoided, and parts of my past are drawn up and toiled with for personal growth. This is how I share myself with the world. I know who I am, and through my music, so do you. Most importantly, I hope to share God with you, through my experiences and the music I make, I pray God turns His face to you.

The most important part of my testimony is God coming into my life. He gave me back my passion for music and without Him I wouldn’t be able to do this at all. I believe people need to know – God loves so hard, that even when you give up on yourself and leave your dreams behind, God hasn’t, He is still there rooting for you to win. He’s waiting to take away any curses you may carry with you and He’s waiting to send His blessings. God has a love for us that we don’t even have for ourselves. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

May God Be With You All!

Chris
